Chronic pain has a significant impact on sufferers’ quality of life. Furthermore, treatment inadequacies are often reported in the literatures. This study aims to investigate prevalence different dosing behaviors analgesics use chronic, non-cancer and their correlation control. is cross-sectional convenience sampling method was applied. Brief Pain Inventory- Short Form Management Index computed assess Statistical analysis performed with Pearson chi-square test alpha value set at 0.05. A total 127 patients were analyzed. 70.9% inadequate control prescribed analgesic(s). 88.2% only took oral whenever they felt while 11.8% around-the-clock despite absence pain. Among them, 11.8-34.7% did not follow prescriber’s instruction for topical analgesic respectively. However, no statistically result found between (p>0.95).
